British Sulphur Events in association with the NATURAL GAS EXPORT TASK FORCE, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO are pleased to announce the inaugural GazChem 2007 International Conference and Exhibition that will take place from 17 - 20 June 2007 at the Hilton Trinidad. The conference will examine the future markets for downstream added-value products derived from natural gas, such as ammonia and methanol derivatives and Fischer-Tropsch (F-T) hydrocarbons, as well as considering state-of-the-art technologies for their manufacture.
On the doorstep of the Americas, GazChem 2007 brings together key players from a spectrum of industries which convert natural gas into chemicals - not just intermediates such as ammonia and methanol but also higher-value downstream derivatives - and alternative energy carriers such as environmentally-friendly liquid transport fuels. It is a convenient forum for top management and commercial officers to network and to hear and discuss a number of presentations exploring issues which challenge decision-makers in today’s global market and in the North and Latin American regional markets.
The meeting includes a two-day technical programme and exhibition for engineers and plant operators concerned with ammonia, fertiliser and non-fertiliser nitrogen products, methanol and its derivatives including DME and olefins, and the use of natural gas as an alternative to petroleum as a feedstock for producing liquid fuels. A select group of top technologists in the industry will present papers on state-of-the-art products, processes and equipment, which you will have the opportunity to discuss both in open session and on a personal level.
Simultaneous translation in English/Spanish will be provided during the conference sessions.
