14 September, 2023: Today, CRU, the global commodities business intelligence company, announces the appointment of Frank Nikolic as its new Vice President, North America, within its Base & Battery Metals team.
In this newly created role, Frank will be responsible for providing thought leadership and industry guidance, drawing on the team’s extensive data and industry expertise across its commodity portfolio. He will have a particular focus on the energy transition and how firms should respond over the next decade to navigate the challenges and maximize the strategic opportunities it creates.
This appointment is the latest in a string of senior hires by CRU as it continues to grow its Base & Battery Metals expertise.
Prior to joining CRU, Frank spent over two decades in various leadership roles at both INCO and Vale, including managing commercial operations, market intelligence, strategic planning and commercial digital transformation.
Frank joins us at what is undoubtedly a critical time for the Base Metals sector; decarbonisation, economic volatility and geopolitical tensions are redefining the future for mined commodities. Frank has exceptionally deep sectoral expertise that will be crucial in helping us support clients as they seek to navigate these issues, and future proof themselves for tomorrow.
