Margarita Agapidou

Margarita works with CRU’s major customers in Western Europe across various industry sectors. With over 19 years in sales and marketing, Margarita enjoys developing customer relationships and partnerships at decision maker level.

Margarita joined CRU in January 2014. Previously, Margarita had worked for Rio Tinto Minerals. She was responsible for managing Rio Tinto Minerals’ business in Central and Eastern European markets. Her role included responsibilities such as developing and implementing regional marketing strategies and commercial plans; negotiating and managing client contracts; appointing and managing a multicultural network of distributors and agents; managing commercial and logistics projects.

Margarita holds and MA (Hons) in International Economic Relations from St Petersburg State University. She also studied at the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg, Germany. Margarita speaks English, Russian, Greek, German and Turkish.
