Marcelo Joined CRU Consulting in August 2018. Before joining CRU, He graduated from a MSc in Economics and Financial Economics at the University of Nottingham.

Based in CRU´s Santiago office, Marcelo has worked in several projects across different commodities such as copper, sulphuric acid, aluminium, and various fertilizer.

Prior to his career at CRU, Marcelo worked as Innovation and Development Analyst at Scotiabank. In this role, he negotiated product conditions with insurance companies for Scotiabank’s current and potential clients.

Marcelo holds a MSc in Economics and Financial Economics at the University of Nottingham and a degree in Business and Administration from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. He speaks fluent English and Spanish.
