CRU is seeking a highly motivated and target driven individual with sales experience to join one of CRU’s fastest growing regional offices. CRU has launched a number of new Analysis and Sustainability subscription services, with plans to continue to launch new services every year. The main purpose of this role is to identify, target and contact new logo and existing clients for all new subscription services only, to build and manage a pipeline of prospects. Once a connection is made, the SDE will qualify the lead, gain an understanding of use case and persona, and schedule a demo of the new services with the appropriate analyst.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Conduct outreach to support telephone lead generation activities for both inbound and outbound opportunities.
  • Gain an understanding of personas, use cases and pain points for leads.
  • Collaborative working with the sales team generating and providing qualified leads.
  • Maintain record of client contact pipeline management using a CRM system.
  • Assisting in tele sales campaigns as and when needed.
  • To create and manage a pipeline of demos and trials of the new subscription services.
  • Working closely and building trust with the regional sales team and Business Unit leaders to identify targets for the new services, understand the business needs of the prospects and how the new services can meet those needs.
  • This role is not responsible for successfully closing deals but will require the development of high-quality leads and demos, which are passed on to the sales team.
  • The postholder will need a good understanding of markets and opportunities arising from changing market dynamics.

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven sales record and increasing spend and achieving KPIs
  • You will have to be highly driven and motivated
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales/tele sales/account management role but open to bright and talented individuals who are looking to start their sales career
  • Experience in tele sales, lead generation, cold-calling and campaign management
  • Experience of working in an information subscription business is preferable
