Exciting opportunity to join a leading, global commodities intelligence brand operating in metals, mining and fertilizer markets, as a Marketing Manager to support growth and expansion of our business.
Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, the Senior Regional Marketing Manager, North Asia will be responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns for the North APAC region mainly China, South Korea and Japan, to drive demand and lead generation. Developing a sound understanding of markets and buyers, you will plan and develop campaigns to execute on go-to-market strategies and manage marketing activity and communications throughout the customer lifecycle, in alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business’ priorities in order to effectively implement marketing plans and activity that drive awareness, engagement and adoption of our services
- Create marketing campaigns to deliver on go-to-market plans for new initiatives and releases
- Build a sound understanding of our customers and their needs and use analytics to inform campaign planning and audience segmentation
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to plan activity and develop campaigns that align with and support our commercial objectives
- Create compelling copy and content that clearly and effectively communicate business value and engage prospects at different stages of the buyer journey. Develop suites of assets such as case studies, testimonials, market insight and analysis to equip teams (Sales, Product, Analyst, Marketing)
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to identify and make use of cross-promotional opportunities
- Consistent attention to detail and quality of output, ensuring that material is to a high standard
- Work cross-functionally, with a focus on quality communication and championing collaboration
- Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns, and communicate the results of related sales and marketing activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar
- CIM or similar
Skills & Experience:
- Good B2B Marketing or related experience, preferably with a data subscriptions, technical or SaaS background
- Track record of working with digital products and delivering successful marketing plans and campaigns
- Experience in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, analysing data and applying data segmentation
- Experience of using marketing analytics tools to derive insights to shape campaign planning and channel selection
- Strong commercial mindset • Experience in closely collaborating with sales functions
- Experience of influencing and managing stakeholders and team members, and building excellent relationships with business stakeholders of all levels
- Good knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot (or similar email automation tool), Google Analytics, publishing CMS
- Ability to translate UX/UI best practice into the scope and delivery of landing pages
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong prioritisation and organisation skills
- Understanding how ROI can be maximised by activity and channel
