Bringing Smiles: CRU Analyst’s Heartwarming Act of Kindness

At CRU, we celebrate acts of compassion and generosity that inspire our community. This November, Anuradha Ramanathan, Senior Analyst and Fertilizer Price and Data Development Lead showcased an extraordinary act of kindness by raising funds for the Little Princess Trust, a UK-based charity that provides free real-hair wigs to children and young people experiencing hair loss due to cancer treatments or other conditions.

“I love a good hair day or walking out of the salon with a flattering hairstyle. Having beautiful, long tresses has always been a part of my life, culture, and identity. When I heard that the Little Princess Trust offers a real hair wig to every child and young person experiencing hair loss due to cancer treatments, I knew how I could help put a smile on someone's face,” Anuradha said.

Supporting Meaningful Causes

Appreciating Anuradha’s initiative, CRU matched her charity by contributing additional funding which demonstrates its strong commitment to supporting meaningful causes.

Not stopping at fundraising alone, Anuradha went a step further by donating 19 inches of her beautiful own hair to the Trust. Her inspiring gesture highlights her commitment to making a difference in the lives of those battling the challenges of cancer.

Anyone who wants to get involved in this act of kindness is welcome to donate and help raise her money here.

A Collective Effort

This heartwarming initiative reflects the spirit of teamwork and shared values at CRU. CRU is proud to support its employees’ charitable initiatives and to encourage everyone to find ways to give back to the community.
