CRU appoints new VP of Sales, EMEAI Region

23 October 2024, London: CRU, the global commodities experts, today announces the appointment of Grahame Mellon as its new VP of Sales for the EMEAI region (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India).

With over two decades of experience in sales leadership, Grahame brings extensive knowledge to the position and a proven ability to foster high-performance sales teams. His appointment will enable CRU to bolster its support for customers in the region, offering them more tailored advice and insight when it comes to navigating the ever-increasing complexity of the global commodities markets.  

He will also play a key role in helping clients expand into emerging markets, such as the Middle East, which is becoming increasingly vital to the global energy transition.

Grahame brings with him a wealth of experience working in senior sales positions across multiple industries, including financial services, energy and petrochemicals. Most recently, he led the Strategic Accounts team at Fastmarkets, focusing on the Metals and Battery Raw Materials markets. In addition to this comprehensive understanding of one of the industry’s key areas of interest, Grahame also brings experience as a certified coach within the sales management space. This unique background will be instrumental as he seeks to establish new client relationships and strengthen the CRU brand in the EMEAI region.
