CRU had the pleasure of hosting undergraduate students from Singapore Management University (SMU) at our London headquarters last month.

The group of 25 students, specialising in International Trade and Maritime Business & Operations, were on a study mission and added the CRU office as a stop to gain a global perspective on the commodities industry. At CRU, we were delighted to contribute to their learning journey.

On behalf of CRU, Ionut Lazar, Principal Consultant, kicked off the session with an introduction to CRU Group. Kaitlin Gebbie, Senior Consultant, followed, delivering an insightful presentation on the nature and scope of CRU consulting services and the diverse range of clients we work with. To deepen their understanding of our work, Alex Christopher, Senior Analyst, provided an overview of how CRU conducts market research and price assessments.

The visit concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where the students posed thoughtful questions, demonstrating their enthusiasm and curiosity about the commodities industry.

We are proud to support the next generation of talent by sharing our expertise and offering them a glimpse into the dynamic world of commodities. Thank you to the SMU students for visiting and to our CRU colleagues for making the experience both informative and inspiring.
