CRU’s Consultant Juan Brihet presented at the ninth International Mining Congress of Tarapacá “CIMIT 2024: Innovating for a Sustainable Future” in Northern Chile. Juan’s discussion surrounding “Lithium: National and International market projections” covers battery materials and supply chain challenges, lithium global demand and the role of South America for supply. Particularly, the perspectives for Chile and Argentina, and the importance of regional regulatory framework.
At the "Potential and Future of Lithium in the Chilean Economy" conference, CRU’s consultant Sebastian Gatica moderated a panel, discussing the latest advancements and challenges of Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology. He also conducted interviews with key industry figures, including the former Chief Technology and Innovation Officer of CODELCO and the CEOs of two high-growth start-ups.
