Client: Provider of critical materials and related process technologies
The client was researching the feasibility of a new plant to produce vanadium in the Middle East.
They commissioned CRU to provide a vanadium market supply and demand study, with a focus on VRFBs and its demand in the GCC. This included specific research into the regional markets for long duration energy storage, the use of VRFBs regionally and abroad, as well as achievable premiums for high-purity vanadium pentoxide.
The analysis and data provided were used by the client and their financial advisors in the preparation of a bid for the raw material supply contract, which was key for the project's completion.
